Share House Writers Round November 2025

Our third ever house show at my apartment, the venue we are now calling Share House, was an experiment. Instead of doing 3 individual sets we tried the “Writers in the Round” format for the first time. For those unfamiliar, this format originated in Nashville and is designed around showcasing songwriting. All of the artists sit in a half circle on stage and take turns playing one song each. For this special show I was joined by good buddy and frequent collaborator Laney Barnett and a new friend; Griffin Duffey (I played at a DIY venue he helps curate called The Splash Pad in Greenville). They are two of my favorite songwriters and it was very fun and rewarding sharing the stage with them. Playing solo is very rewarding, but also kind of intense for me, so it was a welcome comfort having friends on stage to goof off with between songs. We will definitely try more of our shows in the writers round format, it was so fun!
